OUM DREYGA
Formerly known as 'Amgala', stone chondrite H3-5, W0, This meteorite fell in the Gour Lafkah Mountains, 21 km from Oum Dreyga, Western Sahara on October 16, 2003, 02:00UT. The reported TKW was low compared to the large extention of the strewnfield. Just 17 kg have been recovered by soldiers stationed close to the fall site. This is an individual of 20.10 grams. The specimen is equally ablated, displays a gyroscopic shape and shows a velvet like pitch black crust. NMR scalecube is 10.00mm.
