Just before sunset December 22, 2005 Rob Matson found a small meteorite at the Coyote Dry Lake in southern California. The meteorite is very likely paired to Coyote Dry Lake 001 (H5-S2-W3) based on find location, paramagnetism, shape and external color/texture. The orientation cube in the image is 1 cm and the meteorite's mass is 45.2 grams. This was Rob's 23rd meteorite find at Coyote Dry Lake.
