Main mass (90 grams) plus thin section Bernd Pauli Meteorite Collection.
Type specimen 29 grams at Münster University. The original mass weighed
129.4 grams and was purchased from Dean Bessey.
Two POP chondrules just above the center of the field of view are roughly
concentrically surrounded by several chondrule and mineral fragments. An
indented pyroxene chondrule mimicking the shape of the waxing gibbous
Moon dominates the lower right quadrant. The vivid blue, red, and pinkish
colors of the double pyroxene crystal below center denote a change in the
mineral composition. The euhedral olivine crystal in the upper right quadrant
(above the larger, oval POP chondrule) shows a similar phenomenon: the pink areas are slightly different chemically - they are poorer in iron.
