The same aggregate seen in cross-polarized light (magnification = 32x)
which reveals its fibrous, wispy microstructure. The dark, feathery areas have
almost gone to optical extinction.

(large, white triangular clast measuring 3.5x3.5x3.5 mm) in
a thin section of the JaH 055 chondrite (L4-5, S2; W3, TKW 200 kg).
