Hand colored lithography of The Kakova Meteorite, taken from the proceedings of the Wiener Akademie der Wissenschaften, January 1859. The Kakova ordinary chondrite fell on May 19th 1858 in Romania and was given as a present by the court of Kronberg to the 'Wiener Hofmineralien Sammlung'. The meteorite has since been cut and the lithography of 1859 is the only image that exists showing the complete oriented mass.
