Rocks From Space Picture of the Day

A 55.20 gm half individual NWA 859 meteorite, better known under its field name Taza.
NWA 859 is a plessitic octahedrite (iron ung.) was classified at UCLA and has been published
in  Meteoritical Bulletin no. 86. This particularly attractive iron reveals an unmistakable
ice-crystal like etch pattern. NMR scalecube is 1cm.
