Sikhote-Alin Picture of the Day February 17, 2007
Oriented Sikhote-Alin
34.59 grams. Note the triangular impact (center bottom photo) extending almost halfway across the face. I doubt normal jostling during the fall would have done this damage. It is more likely a trailing piece exploded and a fragment smacked this oriented piece nearly tearing the piece in half.
