Sikhote-Alin Picture of the Day February 23, 2007
A large 57 kilo oriented Sikhote-Alin. The photo on the left shows the convex hemispherical leading surface with numerous regmaglypts apparent. The photo on the right shows the flat to slightly concave trailing surface with good roll over lipping and significantly fewer and larger regmaglypts as compared to the leading surface of the meteorite.
