Bernd holding a 66 kilo Sikhote-Alin

At the 1984 Astronomy Fair in Laupheim (near Ulm, Southern Germany), a much younger Bernd (then 39 years young) is holding a 66-kg horseshoe-shaped Sikhote-Alin with awful thumprints and natural patina. My adrenaline was soaring high while my arms were slowly going down. All I could utter while gasping and trying to smile was: "C'mon, quick shoot that pic!" All the while two Russian "guards" were wondering what this guy was doing there.
