Rocks From Space Picture of the Day

A 326 lb. iron meteorite picked up in Texas. Unclassified at the moment but definitely a new iron. Found near the town of Camp Wood (pop. 822) in southwestern Texas around 1960, but its meteoric orgin was not confirmed until 2005.
