"PASAMONTE FIREBALL"
Large size reprint of La tribuna Illustrata cover featuring the Pasamonte fireball. The dramatic work done by Vitorio Pisani shows the bolide seen from bord a transcontinental flight from New York to San Francisco. Although the bolide most probably was the brightest ever seen in recent history it only dropped a small number of stones totaling 5.1 kg. The Pasamonte eucrite fell on March 24, 1933 at 0500 am in Union County, New Mexico.
